8bitAlex is a musician from Ventura, California, who got his name for his “techy” style of music production. Often the young producer’s music is compared to that of a videogame. Because of this comparison 8bitAlex has recently decided to become one of the first artist performers in the metaverse.
Due to the new Web3 world, 8bitAlex and developers are building venues where he will be able to perform, sell merch, and interact with his fans. On Twitter 8bitAlex teased at this idea and said, “Going to my show in the metaverse in 2022 will be even better than a live show”. This new idea 8bitAlex has is centered around fans being able to interact with the music making it a true “live” performance.
