Rueben Wood known for his affiliation to QC and QCDJS attends a star studded night of
excellence in California at the Beverly Hilton. Wood recently released single “You Can Tell”
featuring MSB Boog. Directed by Global Films, the visual opens with a red corvette set in
downtown Atlanta on Peachtree Street. A view of historic Atlanta unveils city buildings and a scene of nightlife that takes place every day. Later, Wood and Boog find themselves rocking the flashing lights and high energy!
Hi Rueben Wood! How are you?
I’m good, how are you all?
Doing well, thank you. Where are you from?
I’m originally from Brunswick, GA.
How did you get into music?
I got into the music industry years ago and I started making music at the age of 7.
What is your greatest achievement as a musician/producer?
I would say probably being considered for a Grammy nomination. My goal is to actually be nominated one day lol.
What are 3 words that describe your style?
Chill, Mellow, & Fun.
What do you want people to take away after listening to your sound?
Really to just feel good and have a lasting music impression from something I created.
Who inspires you the most musically?
The sounds and the creation aspect of it.
Who is one artist you wish you could work with?
I’m not sure, I have a lot of records I need to put out with a lot of major artists but probably Kanye and Nas.
Tell us about any new music you have coming out? When is coming out? What is it about? (or about a new song)
I have an album coming out called 5 AM On Peachtree and a couple of singles. Some of the singles feature Jadakiss, Juicy J, Rick Ross, etc.
