Bearniez – Safari Motion

Safari Motion is a song by Bearniez. She is a singer and sound engineer. Her background traveling the world and living in many major cities has given her the ability to mix multiple elements from different cultures in her music, also thanks to her production team Ogami Music.

Safari Motion is a song that describes the creativity in her mind, very close to what a Jungle is, a chaos filled with colors, beauty and danger. The fact that growing older, imagination is something that is boxed and people expect you to follow the pragmatic academic path, the song talks about not letting external ambiance “tell you no” over your movement of ideas.

This is the reason for the choice of the name given, ‘Safari’ represents the wild while ‘Motion’ describes a constant movement, the mind speeding fast. One of my favorite parts of writing this song was the pre-chorus which came very naturally, the melody was what I felt the most and the lyrics were such: “Aruba no llama, safari disease, banana all over, corona no feet”.

Some lyrics remained the same and from there the whole song was built. The work of Jordan Gomez to find exactly what I was looking for, Daniele Vantaggio who produced hand-in-hand with mastermind Andrea Roma made the whole song complete.

Filming in LA the Music Video was also an experience where I understood what I was trying to communicate to the Video Making Team (Wearemondays) was clear and they delivered the visual concept of Safari Motion.
