Becca Hannah Continues Making Headlines With The Release Of “Giddy” 

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last decade, the name Becca Hannah is a name that should ring bells in every household across the country. Becca Hannah, a 24-year-old singer and songwriter from Boston, Massachusetts, infuses her delicate voice with an honest, goofy rasp. Amy Winehouse, Corrine Bailey Rae, Norah Jones, and Carole King are just a few of the musicians who have significantly impacted the soulful, jazzy, alt-r&b style she has developed over the years.

From a young age, Becca has been a creative person. At age six, she found her passion for singing when she started taking voice lessons and participating in music concerts at her elementary school. At nine, her love for singing inspired her to learn to play guitar and piano to accompany her voice on stage. It was soon after that that she started mastering her songwriting skills. Becca Hannah performs solo shows as well as moonlights as lead with her band, “The Proper Lovers.”

“Giddy” was written a little under two years ago but was shelved due to Hannah contemplating the song’s instrumentation. It originally started as a bedroom pop style infused with an undertone of R&B until she later tweaked the mix. After editing and updating the song with her currently released catalog, a new “Giddy” was born. The song details the emotions, trials, and stages of the infamous honeymoon stage in romantic relationships.

Following the success of her performance at JAY-Z’s Made InAmerica festival back in September, Hannah has continued to consistently release new music and content to keep her fans engaged.
