For years now Seattle, Washington has been known for a breeding ground for hip hop talent but has had very few creatives break through. Teaming up with Lil Mosey, the young producer Callan, becomes the most recent producer from Seattle to hit a milestone of a 1 billion stream on a record.
For those who haven’t heard the song, Lil Mosey’s “Blueberry Faygo” went viral on Tiktok a couple years ago and has been steadily climbing in streams since. Giving the track extra momentum, Cole Bennet was tapped in and shot a visual a month later, filming it at the former Tiktok Hype House. Bringing even an more star studded cast along like Adison Rae, Chase Hudson, and more, this helped Callan and Lil Mosey gain more exposure.
With this accolade in the back of the Seattle local’s pocket, he is using this as motivation to keep up the momentum. Currently signed to Sony, he’s been keeping busy with a full schedule of studio sessions and has more projects dropping soon.
