Influenced by hip hop, pop, and Caribbean Zouk and Kompa styles since childhood, Shaney Poo has a strong ability to create catchy melodies and has a compelling voice that is dynamic enough to carry upbeat and mellow songs. In the following years, he constantly defeated the odds and kept his sights on his dream, and released his wildly successful project, “Mr. Shane.”
Shaney is a leader who’s always paving the way for others. Besides releasing successful projects one after another, he has also assisted other artists from his city to establish themselves. On his personal projects, Shaney has been fortunate to collaborate with super producers, such as K.E On The Track, The Track Burnaz, and BLSSD, among others. Shaney has also performed on stages like S.O.B’s in NYC, AC3 Conference in Atlanta, and the Launch Music Conference in PA. His unique sound and uplifting message recently won him the 2022 Modern Soulful Music Award.
Shaney has released a new music video entitled “Runaway Faith” that’s already available on YouTube. He is now working on a new single that’s set to drop this spring and an album later in the year.
