Scrybe Streaming CEO Snaps On Rapper: “You Aren’t Even Making Minimum Wage”

Late last week a video circulated featuring Scrybe Streaming CEO Christian Phyfier in a very intense conversation with an unknown recording artist discussing the benefits of the Scrybe Music Streaming Application.

The altercation became heated as the artist was seemingly defending his position on why his music is being released on another streaming platform, supposedly Spotify. We are unable to hear what the artist stated prior to Phyfier’s rant, but whatever it was, the CEO was furious, in the end questioning the artist’s social fanbase legitimacy, with the statement; “Is your fanbase real?”

Why do we assume the statement must have included Scrybe Streaming rival, Spotify? Well, that’s simple.

First, the CEO mentions the company’s name in the video, obviously not intending for the video to catch heat. Next, there have been numerous convictions of Phyfier defaming the company (Spotify) online via his personal social media in an effort to stand up for artists and his own company. Lastly, the message is clear that there is a rivalry between companies as there was a rumored cease and desist sent from the competitor to the young CEO in an effort to stop the online harassment.

In the video, we can not tell if it’s simply lighting or if the statements were bringing Phyfier to watery eyes. This isn’t the first time the CEO has had a video angrily and intellectually ranting to another person. Several years ago, an employee recorded him going off in a meeting with another person who was threatening to leave.

Christian has not responded to emails regarding either situation but has stated via social media that: “My passion and anger are two different things, stop being weak and thinking that people are yelling when they simply care.”
