John Hardy, better known as 815Callaway, will release his new single on August 27th. Fans are highly anticipating his song “Limbo” and there is a lot of buzz around the community. 815Callaway has been working on it for over a year and is looking forward to displaying his elegant flow and exquisite sound.
This 20-year-old is from Dekalb County, just outside Chicago, Illinois. Callaway grew up in a small town with limited options and limiting beliefs, which made it difficult for him to expand. I had to choose between going to college or working at a horrible job. There was always something unique about 815 Callaway. Unlike everyone else, he always enjoys doing things that are different from the norm. During high school, he started making music and learned to focus on himself instead of listening to others. In 2018, he turned his entire room into a makeshift studio.
815Callaway always loved music from a young age. Due to his parents’ involvement in music, he fell in love with how music could attach itself to anyone. As a means of expressing his feelings, he uses music. 815Callaway pursued his dream against all the odds while everyone else settled for average. To experience it all at once, he decided to do as much as he could. The musician worked, went to school, and made music at the same time.
In his work as an independent artist, 815Callaway hopes to capture people’s emotions and create positive vibes through his music. In order to stay motivated and happy, he wants his music to stay in their heads all day. Taking inspiration from Drake, Big Sean, Kendrick Lamar, and J-Cole, 815Callaway incorporates their versatility into his music. As he mentions, he is constantly creating new music. His dream is to travel a lot and stay in touch with his fans all over the world in the near future.
With over a quarter million streams on his first album, he knew he had just begun. In spite of the fact that he never expected many listeners, he intends to take it to the next level.
