Lilian’s pursuit of knowledge led her to London, where she embarked on formal education at the prestigious London College of Fashion. It was here that she polished her skills and cultivated the expertise needed to elevate her business. The establishment of a small yet distinctive store in Camden Town, one of London’s trendiest shopping districts, further solidified her presence in the fashion realm.
One of the most profound challenges Lilian had to surmount was a traumatic incident from her childhood—a harrowing encounter with severe burns at the tender age of four. This life-altering experience tested her mettle and determination. However, Lilian, now known as a beacon of positivity, emerged from this ordeal as a stronger individual. She recognized the therapeutic potency of sewing and transformed it into a business and a teaching tool, extending its healing powers to others.
Her creative process defies rigidity; it’s fluid and spontaneous. Inspired by fabric on some occasions, driven by pure experimentation on others, Lilian does not confine herself to a prescribed method. Some of her most remarkable creations have arisen from what she playfully dubs “happy accidents.“
