Ricardo P grew up in Houston, Texas having a tough upbringing, he learned early how to independently work for what he wants in life. Starting to experiment with music young, Ricardo P would enter talent shows in High school. He found it easy to put hooks and verses together in a smooth fashion to entertain his peers. Additionally, he found a spot in the church choir which also helped provide practice for different styles of music. The most intriguing part of music for him was telling a story. Stringing words and sounds together to tell a story to people is not only easy but a beautiful art form for Ricardo P.
Ricardo P has found life to be a challenge, he was able to overcome through a tunnel vision mentality. He maintains his focus and drive to overcome uncontrollable obstacles to ultimately continue the strive for success. He finds inspiration in LL Cool J, Jay-Z, Rick Ross, T.I, Nelly, Scarface, UGK, Master P, Drake, E-40, Eric Bellinger and Ty Dolla Sign each giving a different style. Through his love of telling a story and his experience in a variety of sounds, Ricardo P creates unique songs with producers such as Monsta, Logan, Mike “Maserati” Myers but most notably, Grammy Award-winning producer, Dem Jointz. His song “Clean” is a great example of his creative mind and his talent to build new sounds.
Ricardo P is an artist with an ear for unique sounds that will make heads turn. He is coming out with an EP that will be like no other song he’s come out with before. He will be worth the follow on Instagram and Spotify to keep tabs on his latest hits.
