We recently met up with Hip Hop artist Bjmrclean Zeus for an interview, and he had a lot to say about the industry

Bjmrclean Zeus which is a play on nicknames. Is originally from Cincinnati Ohio, but Some of his strongest roots are in the 805 California where he lived the majority of his adult life. During the pandemic lockdowns, He moved to Colorado. Bjmrclean Zeus says he has been making music since a teenager, but About 5 or 6 years ago he began taking music seriously and investing in himself as a brand and business after linking up with the FXWDT collective and “KID AIR”.

When asked why hip hop is such an important part of the culture, Zeus responded by saying “I believe Music especially Hip Hop and Rap are the ultimate platforms for self-expression and due to the fast-growing industry we hear more popular genres like Pop, Country, or Rock music mimic a lot of the sounds we hear in Rap and Hip Hop music”. He went on to say “Personally my music is influenced by past and present life experiences. But my motivation is my will to succeed and spread my message through music; this is also a big motivational influence. The bottom line is I believe in myself and my craft. And also that persistence companied with the right network will eventually open more doors on my journey to success”.

What are some of your biggest influences in making your music? 

“As a musician, I have not had many influences or mentors along the way, but I have been fortunate enough to have met other individuals both successful and hungry in their craft. I recently started working with  808 Mafia Producer YK, Cincinnati Super Producer Levels, and Arguably the Biggest female LQBTQ promoter in Atlanta Boss Britt which has been very beneficial and impactful on broadening my fan base”. 

Bjmrclean Zeus currently has three projects on all major platforms. My next release titled “Gucci Mane La Flare” is scheduled for debut at the beginning of September bearing no setbacks.

We asked the final question what do you hope to get out of your involvement in the music industry? 

“I am looking for longevity and continued success, but first I would like notoriety and to establish myself as a mainstream/ billboard artist.”
