Sanchez started his early career in the world of graphic arts and advertising, achieving major accomplishments and fame. Despite his enormous success, Sanchez’s inner potential and interest navigated him to pursue law. Despite facing utmost difficulties, Sanchez managed to enroll himself at the Universidad Politécnico Grancolombiano, where he successfully secured a scholarship that he maintained until the end of his studies from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, he specialized in US immigration from NAFA UNPAM University. In 2021, he completed a master’s in international corporate law from UNIR – Universidad Internacional de la Rioja Sánchez and completed a Master of Laws (LLM) from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School in 2023. He has received training and certifications in Paralegal Training from the Paralegal Institute of the Americas and Eb2 NIW Training, EB1 program training, defensive asylum, labor certification, Visa O, Visa P, Visa L-training, legal writing course, corporations: basic to advanced, LLC workshop, income tax course 1040 and corporate tax course from Immigration Institute of Florida.

In 2015, Sanchez initiated his career by serving as a Senior Attorney at EQV Abogados, Columbia, where he still operates to this day. His utmost responsibility there is to review, draft, and negotiate all commercial contracts of Columbian corporations that desire to invest abroad, along with revisions of their license requirements. In 2019 he finally came up with the innovative idea of forging his own firm, Immigration, and Business LLC; their primary role is guiding immigrants entirely throughout their visa application process ranging from filling out the form to devising responsible immigration pathways. He also acted as a Substitute Professor at Universidad Politécnico Grancolombiano, his parent institute, where he teaches evidence law, procedural law, and tax law to students.

Apart from being the author of 5 Ways to Practice Law in the United States for Foreign Lawyers, he has also written articles for multiple newspapers. He is also a prolific writer owing to his blog called “Legalmente Hablando” johnsanchezoffice.blogspot.com; he has written multiple analytical communications on Latino migration to the United States Document Preparers Association (USDPA) as Sánchez is a member of the American Bar Associates, a founding member of Columbian International Migration Law College and also serves as the President of (USDPA).
