After surviving a horrible motorcycle accident that should have taken his life, Young Dom said that it must have just not been his time to go yet, and it was time to use this blessing of life to create what he’s passionate about. By being signed to his own label, he runs the show. He shows endless amounts of drive to create the best music possible while still staying true to himself and his goals. “Honestly” Dom says, “I always viewed rappers as superheroes. I would hear them and on the radio but never know what they looked like. When I figured out they were regular people like you and me, it inspired me to make music of my own.”
Recently, Dom took his profound and unique one-of-a-kind sound to a new project titled “Domination.” The project art consists of photos of loved ones and friends, a message and image that is carried in each song as the project progresses. The eight-song release is the most impressive release from Young Dom so far. With his consistent growth from 2013 to 2021, he truly is honing in on his craft and is creating unforgettable music.
