Dominique Clarke, better known as Domo Muziq, is a talented artist from Queens, New York. His musical career started when he was about two years old. During daycare, he would grab different items around the room to make different sounds. The teachers loved it and would record him making music. He has been fortunate to have a natural talent for music coming from his family, who are all musically inclined as well.
Domo Muziq was a musician for the first 16 years of his life, playing the drums anytime he could. He eventually wrote a song and signed up for Apollo, where he was accepted as runner-up. This got him into a new part of music which he has been pursuing since his first single ‘Touch’ was released in 2018, and he has been expanding since then. When listening to his music, Domo Muziq wants his fans to hear his experiences, his passion, and his love. He wants people to be able to relate to him and enjoy his music. He wants to give the listener whatever they are looking for, no matter what that is. Domo Muziq takes inspiration from many people, including Jamie Foxx, Fred Hammond, Tank, John Legend, Jazmin Sullivan, Whitney Houston, and Ray Charles. These artists produce songs with meaning and longevity, which is the ultimate goal for every artist. Domo Muziq has been hard at work lately with the upcoming release of his song titled ‘Do You Need A Drink’ which is a cookout vibe in time for the summer. The song has a lighthearted vibe about getting a pretty girl a drink and being able to forge a summer connection.
