Encinitas shoppers have two ways to get cannabis from an Encinitas dispensary: pickup at the store or delivery to the door. Each works a little differently, and the right choice depends on schedule, location, and how much time a shopper wants to spend on an order.
Not every dispensary offers both. Across Southern California, STIIIZY locations differ in what they support. Some offer pickup and delivery, and some are pickup only. The last section of this guide breaks that down by store.
Why Some Shoppers Choose Pickup
Pickup suits shoppers who want to see the store in person and ask staff about formats and product categories. It also works for anyone who lives outside a delivery zone or is already driving past the store.
The process is simple. A shopper places the order online, chooses the store, and collects it at the counter after showing a valid ID. Store hours set the window, so pickup is available whenever the store is open.
When Delivery Makes More Sense
Delivery brings the order to the door, which helps on days when leaving the house is not convenient. It also offers privacy, since the order is handled between the shopper and the driver.
Delivery is not offered everywhere, though. Coverage depends on which store is closest and whether that store runs delivery at all. Anyone outside a delivery zone will need to use pickup instead.
How Cannabis Delivery Works
Delivery follows many of the same steps as a pickup order. The main difference is that the ID check happens twice: once online and again at the door.
Have a Valid Photo ID
A valid photo ID is needed to set up an account and again when the order arrives. Under state rules, adults 21 and over can buy cannabis for adult use, and medical patients 18 and over can buy with a physician’s recommendation. A driver’s license works, as does a state ID card, military ID, or passport. Medical patients should have their recommendation ready for the driver.
Choose Products Online
The online menu shows what is in stock at the nearest store. Categories include pods and all-in-one products, flower, pre-rolls, extracts, and edibles. Availability varies by location.
Pick a Delivery Window
At checkout, shoppers choose immediate delivery or a scheduled window. In Encinitas, STIIIZY delivers from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Each order can be tracked in real time until it arrives.
Be Home When It Arrives
Someone 21 or over, or a medical patient 18 or over, must be present to accept the order. The driver checks the ID against the account before handing it over.
Choosing the Option That Fits a Schedule
Online ordering makes it possible to shop pods, edibles, flower, and extracts at any hour. Pickup puts the timing in the shopper’s hands. Delivery removes the trip, as long as the address falls inside a delivery zone. STIIIZY offers both at many of its stores.

Pickup and Delivery at Other Nearby STIIIZY Stores
Shoppers outside the Encinitas delivery zone have four other STIIIZY stores within driving distance. Distances are approximate from Encinitas.
STIIIZY National City, about thirty-five miles south at 3239 Hoover Ave, is pickup only. It serves National City, Chula Vista, Paradise Hills, Bonita, and the South Bay of San Diego County. For shoppers in the southern part of the county, it is a shorter trip than the drive up the coast.
STIIIZY Wildomar, about fifty miles north on Interstate 15 at 36330 Hidden Springs Rd, offers pickup and delivery. It serves southwest Riverside County, including Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Menifee, Sun City, and Temecula.
STIIIZY Jurupa Valley, about seventy-five miles north at 5434 Mission Blvd, also offers pickup and delivery. It covers Jurupa Valley, Riverside, Mira Loma, Glen Avon, and Rubidoux. This store is adult use only, so shoppers must be 21 or over with valid ID, and medical recommendations are not accepted.
STIIIZY El Centro, more than one hundred miles east at 3009 S Dogwood Rd, is pickup only. It serves the Imperial Valley, including El Centro, Calexico, Brawley, and Imperial. Orders are placed online and collected in store.
