How far are you willing to go to make your dreams a reality? We all have goals; however, attaining them isn’t easy. The path to success is daunting, and there are many challenges, from people not believing in you to a lack of funds and countless mistakes. But as DJ J Star shows us, no goal is too hard to attain.

J Star has changed his life by building a successful venture. By believing in his ideas and fighting for his passion, J Star has established and cemented his spot in the music industry and uses his talent to spread positive vibes and encourage others.

According to J Star, one of the keys to success is consistency. He notes that sometimes it gets really tough and you feel like giving up is the best option. But you shouldn’t let failure get between you and your dreams. “The only want to build the future you desire is to keep working hard and learning from past mistakes and others in the industry,” says J Star.

When J Star joined the music industry, it wasn’t easy, and he had to make numerous sacrifices. He notes that one of his biggest challenges was maintaining a proper balance between work and his personal life. As most of his events were at night, it wasn’t easy. Even so, J Star didn’t give up. He overcame this and learned when to take a break and tend to his family, friends, and self-care, giving him even more room to grow his career.

J Star has worked for various radio stations, including Hot 97 and KTU, where he began his journey as an intern. He has also performed at the halftime show for the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden multiple times, opening for the biggest artists in the world.

He says that besides creating mind-blowing mixes, his goal is to change lives and guide others in the industry, something he aims to achieve through sharing his story. Success is a journey, and there are numerous challenges. “However, you must be ready and willing to fight for your ideas to reach your final destination,” says J Star.

J Star explains that it has taken him 15+ years to get where he is. Some of those were extremely challenging, and he has had to overcome various obstacles. Through his incredible journey, he is showing people the importance of patience, hard work, and dedication while sharing the lessons he has learned to assist up-and-coming DJs, remixers, and producers.

His advice to up-and-coming DJs is to invest in their careers. “Take the time to understand the music industry, your target audience, and what kind of music they like,” says J Star. This will give you an upper hand, and it is much easier to grow your fan base and even get gigs. DJ J Star also notes the importance of building a strong online presence. Social media is a quicker way to promote your shows, sell your mixes, and even interact with your listeners, allowing room for you to grow your career.
