The Marina Effect is emerging as one of Miami’s most promising new acts, bringing together alternative pop, Hip-Hop and R&B, Latin, Pop, and soulful storytelling into a sound that feels vibrant, emotional, and full of purpose.
At a time when many artists are chasing trends, The Marina Effect is building something rooted in authenticity. Their music is shaped by friendship, spirituality, growth, and creative expression, giving listeners songs that feel personal while still carrying the energy of a live celebration.
The band’s founder, G, is the visionary behind the movement. Born and raised in Miami, G is a singer-songwriter, life coach, and self-taught guitarist whose life story gives The Marina Effect much of its emotional foundation. After overcoming incarceration and rebuilding his life through discipline, spirituality, fitness, yoga, and personal development, G now uses music as a way to inspire others to evolve and find purpose.
Jenni brings a different but equally powerful energy to the group. Born and raised in Venezuela, she is a multidimensional artist who found her strongest creative connection through music. As a singer-songwriter, she brings emotion, vulnerability, and intention to the band’s lyrics and performances. Her mission is to inspire confidence and self-belief, especially among women.
Evans, also known as “The Drifter,” adds a soulful and magnetic presence to The Marina Effect. A Broward County native, Evans has been performing for as long as he can remember. After years of constant change, the stage became his one true constant. Since joining TME, he has found a deeper sense of brotherhood and purpose through the band’s shared mission.
The Marina Effect’s sound has often been compared to a modern fusion of The Beatles and Black Eyed Peas. Like those legendary groups, TME brings together different musical worlds while keeping the focus on feeling, connection, and cultural impact.
Their growth has already been recognized through three Battle of the Bands wins, helping them build a loyal following through live showcases and authentic storytelling. Their performances are soulful, energetic, and emotionally charged, leaving audiences feeling connected long after the music ends.
With the release of their debut single “Obsessed,” The Marina Effect is entering a major new chapter. The single marks the beginning of new music, bigger creative projects, and a larger movement that continues to grow in Miami and beyond.
The Marina Effect is not just introducing a sound. They are introducing a feeling.
