Pheonix is an artist who is not shy of a challenge. For those who don’t know, Pheonix, real name, Pheonix Clack, is a solo artist who has been writing music since he was 11 years old. This year, Pheonix and his team are finally releasing their full-length studio album. Let us be the first to tell you, this is a strong start for any musician’s first album.
The album, Closer to Closure, is a pop-powerhouse masterpiece. Pheonix is no stranger to harmony arrangements, booming percussion, followed by anthem-like song structures. The album has flairs of rock, punk, EDM, indie, and other genres as it progresses. The album currently has one song that has reached No. 43 on the Top 100 Alternative Songs Chart.
As the title suggests, the album puts the listener in a rollercoaster of emotions from heartbreak, the stress from struggling to grow in the current economical collapse, and other issues most of us face in one way or another. Lyricism and instrumentation are the highlights of this album, and Pheonix proves to be a quality songwriter. We unfortunately can’t dive into specifics about what we heard, but we can guarantee to all fans and listeners that this album is going to be worth every penny.
Most artists, when it comes to their first album, don’t have the team or time to solidify that project into something as grandiose as Pheonix is offering us now. This album is the sincere byproduct of over 6 years being spent on writing, producing, rewriting, scrapping, and everything in between then and now with the final product only containing 3 songs from the original album that was planned to release in 2019.
Closer to Closure is expected to have 15 songs. The album is planned to be released in Dolby Atmos, CD, stereo, and vinyl formats.
Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
