Rappa Recruits NHale, AD, Mac Mois + More For ’Trappin’ In Tha Winter 2’ LP

Rappa has shared the second installment of his compilation mixtape series featuring multiple rising stars.

Ringing in 2023 with new music, the Watts-bred producer has channeled his versatility into his nine-track album Trappin’ In Tha Winter 2 (TTW2). Serving as the sequel to the OG project that dropped back in 2020, TTW2 packs a refreshing punch of both West Coast flavor and new wave rap, all-in-one.

In addition to all new production from Rappa himself, the project includes guest appearances from artists such as NHale, AD, Santeezy818, NWG Suave, Duke Bin Laden and more.

The LP itself represents the intense 2022 campaign Rappa embarked on last year, which saw his hybrid West Coast flare trek across multiple states such as New York, where he linked up with Mac Mois, and Miami where he locked in with Santeezy818.

Rappa also truly put on for the home team as he joined forces with multiple LA artists throughout the year. One of the most notable of his collaborations is the joint-effort Westside 4 Ever album he and Westside Mcfly put together — which features guest appearances from artists such as Kalan.Frfr, G Perico, Rucci, Azjah and more.

Other artists such as Danté Harris and BenFly also tapped in and utilized the Watts native’s unique production skill set in 2022. Rappa also recently worked with veteran Watts MC Who Kid Woody on their collaboration “A Bag.” Who Kid Woody, who became widely known in the L.A. area for his beloved track “Hit Yo Rickey,” also created Rappa’s viral beat tag.

Rappa also put together an extremely prolific run in 2021 due to his unrelenting dedication to working with top L.A. talent – such as GoGetta KB, GoGetta Essco and 1Take Jay who he ran up over one million Spotify streams with via their anthemic “Doin Me,” collaboration. Not to mention, he also previously crafted bangers for artists such as 03 Greedo, the late Kee Riches and more.

While TTW2 is the main focus for Rappa right now, 2023 will likely be a breakout year for the veteran producer. In addition to his plans to release a reggaeton mixtape, he plans to drop more collaborations and announce a major DJ residency in the coming months.
