South Central Los Angeles, K.I The Don is On the Rise

Hailing from South Central Los Angeles, K.I The Don has seen many musical artists grow up in his hometown and make it out. With so many people before him, how could he not be inspired to use music to make it out? While he may still be an independent artist at this moment, The Don is already releasing tracks with fellow up and comers in the music industry, is looking forward to releasing a new single with a big-name feature and has a promising opportunity for a partnership soon.

The Don got into music in a different way than most artists do, and originally was drawn to drawing and writing television and movie scripts. He liked music before that but soon realized that he needed more information on production, so he chose to write scripts and draw until he could expand his resources. He got into music when other kids started writing diss tracks about him and he felt the need to protect himself. This was around the age of sixteen, and The Don hasn’t looked back ever since.

K.I The Don wants his audience to feel him. He wants them to see his inspiration, see his talent, hear the message of each song, feel his energy, catch his vibes, understand the meaning of the song, and see the truth in what he’s communicating. He wants his listeners to apply his music and his message to their highest and lowest moments in life. K.I The Don doesn’t only care about rapping for clout or the lifestyle, he wants his audience to be able to take something away from his music.
