Rap in the PNW is safe as long as Lewie has his hands on it. Hailing from Tacoma, Washington, Lewie is bending the notion of what it means to be a hip hop artist from the north west region of the country. Every song, feature, and music video showcase an evident star power; his voice shines through whenever it’s present. Songs like “Movin Smarter”, or the Calboy collaboration, “Broken Soul” are where he displays his great strength for songwriting and melody-building. As long as he continues on this path, Lewie has the opportunity to put everyone from his area on his back.
