There’s something magnetic about DUPLEXITY. Maybe it’s the easy chemistry between teen siblings Savannah and Luke Judy, or the way their sound feels both nostalgic and fresh—like something you’ve always loved but never heard before. Or maybe it’s just the undeniable spark of two young artists with the talent, grit, and ambition to leave a real mark on the indie rock scene.
Whatever it is, the LA-based sibling duo is having a moment—and they’re making it count.

On March 11th, 2025, DUPLEXITY drops their highly anticipated single “Not Today”, a soaring, pulse-driven anthem about seizing the present and embracing your moment—whatever it looks like. That same day, they’ll be stepping onto the legendary ACL Moody Theatre stage for their SXSW debut, opening the Rolling Stone Future of Music Festival. Talk about poetic timing.
Born for the Stage
Savannah (bass) and Luke (guitar) grew up in a house filled with music. “We were always singing, always learning something new,” Savannah recalls. “We started voice lessons when we were five and six years old. From there, it just became who we were.”
It wasn’t long before the two started adding instruments to their toolkit—Luke on guitar, Savannah on bass. Music was more than a hobby; it was the language they spoke best. After the pandemic put the brakes on their school music programs, the siblings decided to go all in. And just like that, DUPLEXITY was born.
The band name says it all. “We’re two sides of the same coin,” Luke says. “We bring different perspectives, but at the end of the day, we’ve shared every stage of life. That bond gives our music something that’s hard to fake.”

The Big Break
In 2024, the industry took notice. The duo was crowned Rolling Stone’s “America’s Next Top Hitmaker”, a national competition in partnership with Colossal and MusicCares. That win didn’t just land them a feature in Rolling Stone—it booked them the SXSW performance of a lifetime.
“We honestly didn’t expect to get that far,” Luke admits. “But we’ve always had this mindset—just keep going. Stay in the moment. That’s what ‘Not Today’ is all about.”
A Track That Says It All
“Not Today” isn’t just another indie rock single. Written alongside Trey Bruce, the track was recorded at Sound Emporium in Nashville and mixed and mastered by a powerhouse team including David Buchanan, Adam Grover, and Miles McPherson. The sound is crisp and full, with layers of guitar, synth, and bold vocals that remind you this band means business.
“It’s about right now,” Savannah says. “When you’ve worked so hard for something and finally get there—that moment matters more than anything. You don’t know what tomorrow holds, but today? Today is yours.”

From Florida Roots to LA Rhythms
Originally from Florida, Savannah and Luke now call Los Angeles home, where they’re quickly becoming staples in the indie scene. But traces of their Southern roots are woven into their upcoming releases, hinting at a sound that’s evolving—bolder, more grounded, but just as infectious.
Their debut EP, Billboards (2023), made waves on its own, peaking at #3 on the iTunes alternative chart, while the standout single “Drop the Act” climbed to #5. Thousands of monthly listeners on Spotify have stayed loyal since.
Mentorship from a Legend
One of the most surreal moments so far? A studio session with none other than Busta Rhymes.
“We were honestly starstruck,” Savannah laughs. “But he was so down to earth. He told us we reminded him of Linkin Park—that we could be the future face of rock. That meant everything.”
Luke adds, “He gave us advice we’ll carry forever. Be yourself. Don’t chase trends. Make the music you need to make.”

What’s Next
For DUPLEXITY, this is just the beginning. With their eyes on a major label deal and dreams of touring with mainstream acts, Savannah and Luke are building something long-lasting.
“We want to inspire people,” Savannah says. “To show them you can do what you love and bring joy to others along the way. Music has given us so much. We just want to give some of that back.”
A Band You’ll Want to Watch
There’s a lot of noise in the music world, but DUPLEXITY cuts through it. Their passion is palpable, their bond unshakable, and their talent undeniable.
If you’re not already listening, now’s the time. “Not Today” is streaming on all platforms starting March 11, and it’s more than a song—it’s a declaration.

Because for DUPLEXITY, tomorrow can wait.
