Interview With Florence El Luche

Florence El Luche

Hi Florence El Luche! How are you doing?

“I’m doing well. Thank you, and yourself?”

Doing great! Tell us a little bit about your background and how you got into music.

“I was born in Haiti, raised by a morally strong, strict, and business-minded family. I came to the U.S at a young age, but as young as I was, I knew that one day I will run my own business because I am naturally a leader and entrepreneur. By the grace of God, my strong circle, and hard work; today I am proud to say, I own three businesses.”

“Although I am an entrepreneur. However, music has always been a very important part of me. Growing up, I was always listening to different music genres but I’ve always had a special connection with Rap and Hip Hop. About two years ago, I was offered to play the main role in two music videos as a model. This amazing experience had truly inspired me to pursue music as a career. Singing was another hidden talent of mine, but I never knew it would take me to that level.”

“In 2019, I released my very first solo titled “Site Non’m,” which was a major hit. Its success further fueled my passion to release my next song, which was a feature titled “Pa Konpare’m.” The response I received from my fans was simply wonderful. It made me think of this great quote by Alice Sebold “Sometimes the dreams that come true are the dreams you never even knew you had.” In January 2020, I premiered my first music video on YouTube “M’pap Pale Twòp.” I was the first female artist in the Haitian music industry to ever trend worldwide on YouTube at number 25 and 28 within the second day of my video release. Needless to say how happy and grateful I was and still am!”

“I released my second music video “Souke,” which also trended at number 24 on YouTube.”

What are 3 words that you’d use to describe your music?

“Upbeat, catchy, and fresh.”

What would you like your audience to take away after listening to your music?

“I would love for my audience to feel liberated and free from whatever is retaining them from going after their dreams and achieving them.”

Why did you change your name from TuaimeFlo to Florence El Luche?

“Everyone just began to know me as Florence El Luche and it was also just to keep all my social medias as the same name!”

Anything else you’d like the audience to know about? Any new music coming out, anything.

“I have a beautiful new solo single that is coming out very soon! I am super excited about its release. It is a long-awaited solo. Please stay connected with me by subscribing to my YouTube channel Florence El Luche and I promise you will never miss a beat. I love my fans more than they will ever know, I am grateful for their love and all their support. They are my true connection and inspiration. Thank you guys.”
