Lil Durk Drops Studio Album “The Voice”

Lil Durk has returned with a brand new studio album titled “The Voice.” With only a few features he is still able to give his audience a variety of different vibes to choose from. The 16-song bundle was released on Thursday December 24, 2020 along with quite the heartfelt cover art.

Right next to Durk on the cover of the album, King Von sits to his left with the words “Long Live Grandson” over his head. He has shown time and time again that he will do anything in his power to keep the name of his ‘twin’ alive and fresh, including featuring him on his newest project. The album not just features Von, but also shows appearances from 6LACK, YNW Melly, Booka600, and even Young Thug. Announcing the drop of his work through an instagram post captioned “The Voice dropping at midnight,” it would only take a few hours for him to follow up with another picture, along with the link to his newly dropped album.

This following his impressive feature on Drake’s viral hit song “Laugh Now Cry Later,” Durk gifted his fans with a memorable and most enjoyable body of work. With each song he exposed a different message and had a variety of sounds throughout his well put together project.

The album consisted of 10 independent singles with just four collaborative songs. Within his project, we hear him speak on the troubles he is currently going through with his females and separation from his friends. Along with production from Turn Me Up Josh, LowLowTurnMeUp, and Ayo Bleu, Lil Durk is able to communicate himself once again over such smooth and yet energetic beats.
