King Tay has been a promoter on the rise since 2003 when he first started promoting several events throughout Montgomery County, Maryland such as; Ocean Drive, Telvis, River Side Lounge, and Wheaton Lounge. To add to that extensive list, he also promoted Teen Clubs with his friend Coogi Maine. He went to the next level in 2005 when he met a Power Mogul named Hollyhood who he was able to team up with to help promote larger-scale shows performed by artists such as Trey Songz, BG and Devin The Dude. Still mentoring King Tay today, Hollyhood constantly provides bigger and better opportunities for King Tay to take his passion to new heights.
King Tay approaches his business and clientele in a different way than most promoters, where he believes the best way to excite and provoke passion in the consumer is to market the promoter brand, talent or product in a way that tells an exciting story that is personal and relatable to all. This goal cannot be attainable by just any promoter, King Tay’s strategies consist of creative sales promotions, and web savvy marketing plans as well as setting practical application and a passionate commitment to the end results.
Following King Tay’s philosophies are great results and accomplishments such as tour promoting for Wild n Out, managing club 24, Dreams Night Club and IG Musque Group King of the Year 2018. His constant pursuit to connect with the consumers and targeted audiences have only given more and more opportunities to show his passion and talents. King Tay’s success is on an exponential path to the top and is someone of interest in this upcoming year.
