Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Midwest based beat producer and songwriter Candy G Beats has officially announced he is changing his name to Michael Alter.
The change isn’t coming suddenly as the artist has been gearing towards his creative direction up for a while. Under the name Candy G Beats, the rising creative amassed thousands of streams across all major platforms.
“Nothing about what I’m doing is going to change”, explained Alter. “I just felt like it was time to be a little more personal with everything.”
