Josh Lambert is a songwriter, producer, and independent alternative rock artist from Los Angeles who is blending punk rock and hip-hop, bringing an innovative style to both genres.
Near the end of high school, Josh began to make his own music. He started his career as a hip-hop artist, but, as he got more into producing, Josh began borrowing sounds from his roots. Inspired by some of his favorite bands, such as Green Day, The Killers, Coldplay, and The Who, Josh started to bring more alternative rock elements to his music – both sonically and lyrically.
While Josh has found his own lane in this sound, his style is not done evolving. As a fan of many styles of music, Josh continues to borrow different elements from across a variety of genres to create something new that his listeners can enjoy and relate to.
Josh collaborated with independent punk/hip-hop artist, Jude Barclay, on his latest song, “MY WAY.” The track combines rock, trap, and EDM elements, bringing a freshness to the alternative rock and hip-hop genre. The song not only exemplifies his progression as an artist, but it also gives his listeners a glimpse of what’s to come this year!
