Jason Pyro is an independent artist based out of Brooklyn, New York. He is Guyanese American with both of his parents coming from Guyana. Jason Pyro got his start in music when he took piano classes at Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn. His rap introduction was much sooner. He started freestyling at 12 years old and recorded his first serious song at 16 years old. Jason Pyro has always had a strong love and connection to music. When he was younger, Jason use to memorize the soundtracks and lyrics of some of his favorite movies. He has had a lot of challenges along the way to get where he is today. His greatest challenge was turning 25 years old as a black man in America with no felony charges.
Jason Pyro reports the system has tried to get a hold of him and lock him up but between himself, his family, and God they were not successful. Through challenges also came successes and he believes his greatest accomplishment has been never giving up. He has been doing music for over 10 years and he is finally seeing some success. He believes the key to success is consistency and heart.
Jason Pyro has been fortunate to add very talented people to his team to make his music the best it can be. The main producers he works with are Razsy Beats and Take Flight G5. However, he has also worked with King Chung, ShotbyLlama, Vinnyographer, and 070 Sebastian. Jason Pyro is able to listen to other artists and take inspiration from them to make his own great music. One of these artists is Pharell. Pharell is his favorite producer and one of his favorite artists which makes him someone he would love to work with. Jason Pyro currently has a lot of music that is set to release very soon. His next single coming out is titled “Goyard” which will be set to release on his birthday 7/22. Jason Pyro believes “Goyard” is a masterpiece and will be a huge hit among his fans. Another huge hit coming soon is “Same Thang” featuring Aaron Rose.
