For as long as Jules Lozada can remember, he has had a heavy dose of music in his everyday life. He started singing at seven, playing the drums when he was ten, and playing the guitar and piano when he was twelve years old. Out of all those paths, he decided to ultimately go with singing and has been going steady at it since he was fourteen. Over the years, he has grown a ton as an artist, but it hasn’t come without trials and tribulations. Now, taking his music to a level it has never been before, Jules Lozada, aka Pure Skies, is looking to inspire others and show them it is possible to do anything you put your mind to.
“When I was younger, it was very hard for me to make friends and was picked on all the time. That’s why when I first started sharing my music, I was extremely scared of putting myself out there because of my previous experience in getting made fun of and bullied,” explains Skies. He knows what it’s like to not be accepted by others in his environment, which everyone deals with at one point or another. Skies notes how important it is to accept yourself for who you are before looking for validation from others.
Skies put aside the thoughts and perceptions that others had of him and chased his dream to get him this far, and now he wants others to do the same thing. Creating music that inspires others is what it is all about for Skies, making it difficult for anyone to hate on him. He is in it for the greater good of other people and will be reaping the benefits of being this way in the near future. Stay tuned as it is all good energy heading in Pure Skies direction.
