A force to be reckoned with, boxer and Detroit native Davante Shumate , is drawing all eyes and attention as he fights his way to the top. Starting as an all-around athlete, he has a background in track and football but quickly found a deep love of boxing. Encouraged by his parents to go full force in all his pursuits, his laser focus has created a beast. Remembering the advice he received along his journey, he puts God first and his career second. Davante Shumate was inspired by his brother, Vernon Paris, whose impressive record stands at 29-2-17KO’s. With a debut fight in Detroit that packed the house, Shumate hopes to have another match in his hometown and will be on the road with three fights scheduled so far for 2022.
