Based in LA, David Ogunnubi, better known by his stage name Extra, has been making music since he was a freshman in college. After being challenged by a friend from the same dorm building, Extra decided he wanted to take music more seriously.
Making his debut a short time ago, Extra’s latest release “Vibin’” is a track worth talking about. Starting with different vocal runs and early talking, the track quickly takes off with a steady drum pattern and hard-hitting 808s. Extra uses a melodic chorus, and a plethora of different rhymes, tones, and flows to get his point across.
“Vibin’” is all about chasing beautiful women while on the grinding getting money.
