From A Small Town To A Neighborhood Hero Meet Tye Cooper

Growing up in the small town of Providence, Rhode Island, Tye Cooper always had an appreciation for music deeply rooted inside of him. At only the young age of six, his parents made it a point to educate him on the legends of music, eventually leading Cooper down his own path towards success in the music industry.

Thanks to his parents, Tye would grow up looking up to musical greats such as El Debarge, The Notorious B.I.G., and 112. Cooper’s mother played a strong role in sculpting his understanding and appreciation of R&B, even showing him the more explicit songs. His father played the part of introducing him to the more gritty, hardcore side of Hip Hop like No Limit Records, G Unit, The Diplomats, and Shyne. Though, it wasn’t until the young age of 8 years old that he would start to embrace writing out his rhymes in a way that would make the most sense to the world.

Tye Cooper’s biggest challenge to overcome was being from his hometown. Though he has nothing but love for his stomping grounds, the harsh truth is that there wasn’t a major music market in the area making it even harder for aspiring artists like himself to get their sound heard. The challenges he faced never kept him down though. In fact, it motivated him to think more outside the box. This intricate way of thinking would later lead to him meeting Dan Murphy and inking a deal with Murphy’s record label, Silent Reminder Entertainment.

Cooper is currently at work making new music for his fans to enjoy on a consistent basis. He’s been experimenting with different sounds as well as collaborating with other talented artists in his field.
