JD Hardy is one such example who is storming the music industry with his unique voice and unconventional compositions.
The artist from Bakersfield, California grew up in a family of musicians. His father and grandmother were country recording artists. JD developed a passion for music. His passion intensified under the influence of music icons, such as Hank Williams Jr., Waylon Jennings, and his hometown country music star, Merle Haggard. Growing up, JD completely devoted himself to wrestling and cowboying. It was not until he reached adulthood that he developed his unique voice that brought him recognition in the industry.
JD is gifted with a unique voice and the power to pen popular lyrics. His compositions are also unconventional which makes his songs easily identifiable. During his initial career, JD’s signature style grabbed the attention of audiences due to the legendary producer Ray Ruff. He soon signed a deal with Sony Nashville in 2005. All was going great for JD for a couple of months until Ruff’s sudden death turned his life upside down. His project was stuck at a crucial point in his career. The loss was devastating but JD decided to move on and restarted his career. He signed another contract with Castle Records for his self-titled debut album.
Since then, JD has never looked back. His singles “Rebels With A Cause” in 2013 and “Country Saves Me” in 2016 were smash hits. He continued his career with a series of back-to-back hits. He performed with renowned artists, such as Mark Chesnutt, Trace Adkins, Easton Corbin, Swan Brothers, Randy Houser, and Tyler Farr.
Currently, JD is working with Nashville based Producer, Dean Miller on his upcoming album “Killer”. He is optimistic about this project and feels it will enthrall the audiences like never before. The songs have the typical vibe and sound that is unique to JD. The music will be electrifying yet soul-soothing as he has combined rock with the soft undertones of country music.
Besides being a famous singer, songwriter, music composer, and recording artist, JD is also a philanthropist. He believes in giving back to his community that gave him his unique style of music. JD has worked with popular artists like Randy Houser and Tyler Farr to raise funds for various social causes. To date, JD has volunteered as a fundraiser and has helped raise over $100,000 for St Judes Children’s Hospital and more for organizations like American Cancer Society, Relay For Life, Band Of Brothers, Welcome Home Military Heroes, and many more.
JD loves to connect with his fans. He wants to perform live for his fans and sing and dance with them. He also wants to continue his philanthropic activities because he feels musical pursuits alone cannot bring fulfillment in his life.
