In 2022, he joined Lockheed Martin, an American aerospace, arms, defense, information security, and technology corporation, as a contractor, allowing him to continue to serve the Marine Corps in a new capacity.
In 2022, Blanks published his book “A Marjah Marine’s Perspective,” in which he shares his experiences as a Marine and the lessons he learned from his service. The book is a first-hand account of his time in Marjah, Helmand Province, Afghanistan, and the impact it had on his life.
