The late Juice WRLD has released his fourth posthumous single titled ‘Real Shit’, a highly anticipated collaboration between himself and his long-time producer Benny Blanco. In honor of Juice WRLD’s 22nd birthday, Blanco teased their audience by posting a snippet of the song with the cover art on his instagram. Along with a picture of the two of them on Wednesday afternoon.
Shortly after he would then release the full version of the single. This debuted on all streaming platforms and became available at midnight on December 2, 2020. Following the photo would come a heartfelt caption, expressing his condolences while still reminiscing on the relationship he held with his close friend. Mentioning before that this wasn’t one of, but their first ever collaboration together as artist and producer, it’s clear that this was a very meaningful release for Juice and Bennys close ones. Especially considering the amount of time that they have been sitting on the track.
The song follows his first posthumous album, Legends Never Die, which hit No. 1 on Billboard 200, while also reaching No. 1 on most of the UK charts. A main man behind the scenes in all of his projects, and one of Juice WRLDS close friends, rapper Lil Bibby hinted in an interview that a second posthumous Juice WRLD album could be in the making. Evidently implying that there is a collection of music in the making for his fans.
