Unbeknown to many, metal music shares a rich history dating back to the early 1950s. It’s a sound that greatly borrows from hard rock, evolving to become a genre on its own. Metal gained popularity in the 1960s, with bands such as Black Sabbath and Deep Purple rising to the mainstream. The sound has since evolved, gaining popularity all over the world.
Dylan Leonte Custard is a metal music enthusiast and artist with a profound love for the sound. He had grown to become one of the top artists in the genre, making music and videos that bring awareness to serious topics like suicide and domestic abuse. He considers his music to be meant for people battling different forms of depression and who need an outlet to relieve their minds. Dylan has made it his ultimate purpose to make people’s lives better by painting smiles on their faces.
Dylan is also the founder of Raw Creations Gaming Company, an online company with over 600K followers on social media. Through the company, Dylan creates short videos, including prank videos that she shares with other social media users. Like with his music, these funny videos are always meant to address sensitive topics in society in a comical but educative way.
Dylan started off in the entertainment industry at a very young age. At around 12 years old, he appeared on a reality TV show aired on TV Land called “The Big 4-0,” which was based around his family and his mom turning 40 years old. He then got involved in an independent film called She’s a Fox with Hailee Steinfeld. Three years later, Dylan featured in “Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers,” a TV show that was a great marketing strategy to promote his band at the time.
Around 2014, Dylan started filming prank videos on his Instagram page and eventually was contacted by Kyle Forgeard and Jesse Sebastiani to join their prank group called Nelkboys. They together shot about 30 videos from 2014–2017, with their video “Coke Prank on Cops” being their most viral clip with over 115 million views collectively online and 46 million views on YouTube alone.
A passionate artist, Dylan was quick to tap into the new fan base to create new music with his band Dylan ‘N’ Alice. Afterward, Beyoncé’s father and former manager, Mathew Knowles, started to work with the band personally for four years. During this period, Dylan’s band released their biggest song, “Lonely Hunter,” a domestic abuse awareness and prevention video that has amassed over 1 million views on YouTube.
Today, Dylan considers himself an entrepreneur as he is still creating music with his band while also running his Esports gaming organization. He also occasionally creates prank videos on Tik Tok with his best friend Nathan Davis jr, Topper Guild, and twin prank group called Even Out. The most notable and viral video on TikTok has over 42 million views with Topper Guild, where they prank people in an elevator. Dylan has plans to launch his television network on Roku and Amazon Fire TV and shoot 3 TV shows for the network as he plans to take over the space.
