Lonely Ghost and Gal Media Group Team Up To Host Exclusive Brunch In West Hollywood Celebrating Lonely Ghost’s Newest Collection– Connect

On Tuesday May 17, popular streetwear brand, Lonely Ghost, and Gal Media Group teamed up once again to host an exclusive brunch in the heart of West Hollywood.

Lonely Ghost, co-founded by Indy Blue, partnered with Gal Media, a quickly rising PR agency founded by entrepreneur and CEO Jennifer Jaden, to host a brunch celebrating its newest collection launch– Connect.

The Connect collection, which dropped May 16, isn’t just a line of trendy clothes and accessories, but was created with the purpose of reminding wearers to slow down and take a little extra time to connect with the world around them, and thus to themselves, this National Mental Health Awareness Month.

Gal Media’s precise attention to detail was evident in everything from the green and white-checked table settings– a signature Lonely Ghost print– to perfectly curated goodie bags, to the location.

Held at the ever-chic Gracias Madre, a traditional Mexican restaurant with a plant-based twist, founded “out of love for Mother Earth,” there’s no doubt Gal Media’s choice of restaurant wasn’t solely for the out-of-this-world jackfruit carnitas tacos, but was a subtle nod to the inspiration behind Connect.

Speaking of food and attention to detail, the menu included signature cocktails named after hallmark phrases found on many Lonely Ghost pieces like, “I Love You Say It Back,” which was the name of a delicious-sounding watermelon margarita, and “This Song Reminds Me of You,” used to name a fruity Rose-centered cocktail that included strawberry, banana and cacao nibs– yum.

In attendance were familiar faces like influencers Dai Time and Morgan Willet, TikTok star Jack Wright, Editor-in-Chief of The LA Girl Erika De La Cruz, actress Marlen Orozco, photographer Davis Bates and more. The event was captured by San Diego-based photographer Kristen Pritchard.

Indy Blue, who has long been a proponent for mental health awareness and education, delivered a heartfelt speech expressing her gratitude to all in attendance and explaining the inspiration behind Connect, and how, through her own journey of self-connection and reflection, she was inspired to create a Lonely Ghost line that would encourage its wearers to do the same.

In an exclusive interview with Indy Blue, the successful business owner and mental health awareness advocate stated that “this brunch was so exciting for [her] as a brand owner”. “I’ve never had an event like this with other influencers and editors, so it was a great opportunity” she said, adding that “the drinks were amazing, the details were perfect and conversation was flowing. I was so stoked to share our new Connect collection with everyone. They loved it!”

Gal Media and Lonely Ghost proved once again what a stellar pair they are with an event that brought together a diverse group of creators, allowing them to take a little time to connect to one another over some amazing food in the name of rad clothes that help illuminate a widespread issue.
