Louis Seivwright was born into a musical family, and over the years, he has continuously grown in a competitive industry, making his mark. His dad, a guru in the music world, had home studios everywhere he lived. Louis has been obsessed with music since he was five, and with time, he understood music theory and some cheat codes that would benefit him in understanding the different scales and notes.
Louis inherited his dad’s culture of setting up studios in the flats he lived in. He moved to his first flat at 18, designed his first studio, and started laying down beats during his free time. Louis made these beats as a hobby for two years, and after making enough money from it, he quit his regular job to do music full time and has no regrets about this move.
Louis released his first album, Cloud 9, in 2020 and has another thrilling album titled Wonderland coming soon. As a master of his own music craft, Louis produces hits from all his music tracks. “Circles” is his debut single from the upcoming album, on which he collaborated with the eye-catching Scottish artist Ama Jane to make the track. Louis is also set to release another banger from the Wonderland album, the song the album got its name from, featuring Ama Jane and a rising star: Chef.
“Wonderland is about being trapped in different types of fear, such as losing creativity, self-worth, or self-doubt, and having to deal with it yourself, then realizing that you can escape to your wonderland without having to deal with it,” Louis explains. Louis proposed releasing “Wonderland” as the lead single since it doesn’t give too much away about the album’s overall sound. It’s a very contagious and catchy hook. The three artists shine on the song, making it so special.
Louis shares that Wonderland will be a very exclusive album. He was inspired by renowned and trailblazing artists such as Billie Eilish, Frank Ocean, James Blake, Kanye West, and Travis Scott, who have unique musical genres. Louis was inspired by their creativity when he started working on the album, further motivating him. He got the idea for Wonderland in December 2021, kick-started the project in January this year, and made roughly 200 beats for the album, establishing the album sound by April.
Louis went into the studio with different artists, and they would bring his vision to life. “The overall sound of Wonderland is very impressive and emotion-based; it’s up and down constantly, bringing the listener on an emotional journey. I have fallen in love with everything about this project; I feel like I’m always in Wonderland. That’s all I think about,” adds Louis.
Louis is undoubtedly basking in the glory of his music career and has achieved so much. He was nominated for a Scottish Alternative Music Award (SAMA). Currently,
He is working on 3 BBC TV music shows, including a full season of beats for a certain show. Louis has also been getting airplay from 35 BBC radio stations. It has been a very fast-paced year for Louis, but he has no plans to slow down. He is over the moon to reveal the extent of everything he has been working on. He plans to drop several singles before November’s big launch of the Wonderland album.
