Morewop’s Message and New Music

A rough upbringing is what now inspires Chicago rapper Morewop. He spoke in an interview about growing up, saying, “I grew up as a menace, risking my life, gambling, and robbing. I got shot and also lost two brothers [to gun violence].” The raw and real experiences of Morewop show through in his work, and it has resonated with audiences reaching over a million views on YouTube and TikTok.

Currently, Morewop is seeing a great response to his first two projects, “Who I do It 4” and “WOPTOBER.” His next work will be titled “Road Runner” and is a tribute to those trying to reach their true potential while overcoming obstacles. Morewop relates that the hardest subject he writes about is himself and what he has gone through, but that is also the most meaningful. Though independent, his work ethic, talent, and realness have sparked success so far and is a sure formula to follow for the future.
