NxtFriday was born and raised in Alexandria VA just outside of Washington DC. After getting kicked out of his parent’s home when he was just 17, Friday dropped out of school and started going to the studio instead. Still hungry as ever, his drive is an inspiration for us all, and after amassing Millions of streams online as an independent artist we all know that’s nothing easy to accomplish. From turning down bad deals to firing bad management, that only drove Friday to take a break from music and focus on learning the business so he could navigate his career into his own hands. From his unique auto-tuned voice to his dope image he is definitely one to remember, his name alone keeps us wondering what’s next?
Friday loved to challenge authority so he always found himself either suspended or even expelled from school, as he didn’t care for school much.
This up-and-coming underdog of an artist who has been making a name for himself online has been building a Fanbase beating all odds against him. He often doesn’t show or talk too much about himself. As we barely see him active on social media. I’m sure there is much more to him than meets the eye. Friday makes music about things he has seen or gone through.
