Rock On: One of Eddie Van Halen’s Guitars Are Being Gifted Through NFT’S

2022 has kicked off with major developments in the music scene. Blockchain technology, mostly NFTs, is taking over the art world. House of Petals, Hollywood’s underground rock and roll lounge, has also started the year with an amazing array of guitar NFTs that feature Eddie Van Halen’s special, Rock On, that will undoubtedly leave his fans breathless. Every virtual NFT by the House of Petals will be a special collection backed by physicals from handmade luxury instruments from the late legendary Eddie Van Halen to those just for the metaverse.

A refreshingly cool blend of music, art, style, fashion, and flowers is getting a home in this metaverse 90’s Hollywood underground lounge, that’s in fact, modeled after a former real-world location. House of Petals by day is the flower shop vision of founder Joey House, and by night, home to Hollywood’s rock and roll culture as a safe space for artists to jam out and fans to mix and mingle with the likes of Tone Loc, Halle Berry, Farrah Fawcett, and Sean Penn without the pressures of paparazzi.

Eddie gifted Joey House two guitars that will be included in the opening night celebration of the metaverse venue. The NFTs are not just backed by the physical items and a chance to get one of his guitars in your hands; they are loaded with a utility like special access to the venue, its events, greenroom hangouts with artists, players, influencers, and many surprise utilities rolling out before and after this first NFT mint release.

Duquan Brown of Future Media, HOP project lead and marketing executive, is focused on establishing legacy and the art of music in the metaverse in leading this project. “What we are doing is historic.

Now we will be able to share this experience with the WORLD.“ We want to memorialize the energy of the legendary speakeasy, through the Metaverse, but with a futuristic drip. We will be bold and have off the wall never the same twice experiences each time you enter the House of Petals.” Say Brown

Carrie Lyn of The Creativ House is one of the team members building the House of Petals NFT roadmap and partnerships, focusing on bringing long-term value to NFT holders.

“I want to memorialize the history of Rock’N Roll. Come to the Metaverse and experience the history, versus reading a book or watching a documentary. Literally experience it,” she says.

Proceeds from the sale of the NFTs will go toward building the House of Petals in the metaverse, a home for the rock and roll community and fans alike. House of Petals will be hosting big concerts, virtual festivals, and casual sessions where upcoming artists will take over the stage.

“This is a way I can contribute to the generations to come, a safe space to bond and create a community for rock and roll while continuing to fuel Eddie’s mission and support the things I saw affect him so deeply,” Joey explains.

In honor of all that Eddie has done and in support of what hestood for, a portion of the NFTs will be donated toward initiatives that directly affected Eddie and his mission. They include the City of Hope for cancer treatment and research, Eric Clapton’s rehab center Crossroads, and a national high school tour, providing guitar and piano lessons to underprivileged music students.
