Small Town Girl With Big Dreams: Miss Storm

Shannen Howard, better known as Miss Storm, is an up-and-coming artist from Warren, Ohio. Miss Storm is a small-town girl from Ohio raised by two strong grandmothers who taught her to follow her dreams. She was in talent shows in high school and sang in the church choir, which gave her a start in music. She always found music to be a light for her and used it as therapy all her life. In high school, Miss Storm decided she wanted to pursue her career as an artist. She began traveling city to city, introducing herself to anyone she could to establish herself in the entertainment business. Her journey has been full of ups and downs, but it has gotten her to where she is today. Miss Storm focuses on self-love and promoting black unity in her music when creating. She wants her listener to feel empowered, motivated and loved. Her personal goal as an artist is to bring balance to music and give music lovers a break from the same conversations. She wants to invoke change and give our youth an option to hear something different.

Miss Storm has lots of new music on the way. She has a highly anticipated concept album titled “Black Dreams” released this year. She is also releasing a new summer single in June titled “Where You Wanna Be.” This single is what has been missing in everyone’s playlists. It is a feel-good song about coming together and having fun while positively promoting culture. Miss Storm is also doing features and writing for other artists. 2022 is a big year for Miss Storm and her career as an artist.
