The challenges of the music industry can many times be the same forces that spur an artist forward in their creation. Kiwi, born Caleb Hedberg, a Wisconsin-raised producer, and artist, understands that challenges continue to come even when a career has seen success. He explains that some of the hardest subjects he has written about are, “going through times of self-doubt and high expectations. I always set the bar high myself, maybe a little too high.” It is leveraging the tension between expectation and drive that has allowed Kiwi to work with renowned artists and make songs like “Valentine” and “Worth it” for YK Osiris or “Mood Swings” for Pop Smoke. Kiwi currently has a publishing deal with Sony/ATV and is managed by Big Gates Records. He continues to work on projects with some big and talented artists which are coming soon, he related, and also has a number of his own songs he is looking to put out for fans. His most recent singles “Take Time” and “Mixed Signals” were released in the last two years and have gained him thousands of monthly listeners while he looks to grow his artist side along with his well-known productions.
