Even with multiple confidence votes from artists such as JID, Stalley, Reason, Slim Jimmy and Kato the Producer, Blue Collar Gang rapper Yadda Man is still fighting battles every day to level-up in his rap career.
Despite the adversity he faces, he’s providing his loyal listeners with the experience of a day engulfed in his positive outlook via his latest Kerrigan-directed music video.
Reaching back into 2021 and revisiting his breakout JiMMY project, Yadda Man recruits his frequent collaborator, artist-producer Y-Beezy, for his Cali Dreamin’ “Hard Knocks” music video.
Following Yadda Man’s delirious low-rider adventures in the City of Angles, “Hard Knock” is all about, “Getting off your ass, and making things happen,” according to Yadda himself. As Yadda Man and Y-Beezy cruize the city in a pair of clean old schools, the Midwest lyricist cycles through his bag of bars to deliver two of his most captivating verses in recent memory.
“Solo/Gotta go and get the money dolo/Niggas in the way, way way,” Yadda Man raps over the whimsical production from Y-Beezy.
Yadda Man’s evolution as an artist is on full display throughout his JiMMy album, the project serves as Tracks such as “The Basement” confront the dark place he was in a year prior to the project while “Hard Knocks,” which quickly became a beacon call for the electric vibes on the project, exudes a confident persistence.
Since gaining considerable traction following the release of his Cream project in 2020, Yadda Man has remained focused on channeling his energy into becoming the best artist possible. As a result, he has also opened for countless artists such as Wocka Flaka, Dizzy Wright, Bones Thugs N Harmony, and Afro Man, among others.
