Rony hosts listening party for his upcoming album “Pressure Makes Diamonds”

The year of 2022 is looking very promising and exciting for rising music artist Rony. Giving fans an official music video for his single “Invincible” and launching his debut Album “Pressure Makes Diamonds.” Labeled by fans as a smooth rapper, Rony has released an electrifying project that will surely put him in the limelight as the next up-and-coming Portland music artist of the year.

Rony held a listening party for his fans, showcasing his 7 track project that featured songs such as “Reminiscing”, “Dream”, and “Ice in my veins.” During his time making the project, Rony spent countless hours in the studio. Finding his sound, and displaying his lyrical ability. Rony mentions how it became easier for him to write lyrics. Before taking him over 2 hours to construct a song. Now, it only takes him 15 minutes. 

The Portland musician attracted a lot of attention in 2020 when he released a series of singles that highlighted his unique vocal range and exceptional lyrical skills, generating more than 10k monthly listeners on Spotify alone. 

Rony, who’s real name is Ronaldo Rodriguez, was born on September 6, 1999 in Mission Viejo, California. Later moving to Portland at the age of 5. Rony loves Portland, but plans on eventually moving back to his home state California. “Portland will always have my heart, but California is home.” 

There is no doubt that Rony’s lyrical skill draws heavily from his own experiences and personal struggles, making them highly relatable and relevant in today’s generation. As the rising star continues to maintain his genuine nature, he is bound to dominate the airwaves in the near future.
