On December 4th, 2023 a new music video was released straight from the Ohio Department of Corrections. Bayside Rod invites us into his prison cell for his brand new song titled “Sinc.”
Only three months after his collaboration with rap superstar Gucci Mane, Rod delivers stunning visuals for yet another banger. The track, whose title is actually another spelling for the word ‘Sink’, is a song focused on some of his real life jail experiences. The beat is dark and booming, produced by Pluto, setting the scenes sonically for the accompanying visuals. Immaculately mixed by Bayside Rod’s rising go-to engineer Aye Montie! whose work you can hear on many of Rod’s releases such as ‘Big Bank, Lil Bank’ featuring Gucci Mane and the upcoming EP from Bayside Rod titled ‘Mr.Triple-Double set to drop this June. A homage to NBA star Russell Westbrook with a dopeboy twist to bridge the gap between the two public figures hood dreams and successes.
There is no question of the authenticity that this artist is bringing to the table with the up close and personal footage that Big Bayside provides in his latest video. If “real” is what you look for in a rapper you can find it in him. The video has already amassed large numbers of views on YouTube but it’s reach is limited due to the platform’s policies against what they deem to be “shocking content.”
