What’s your background? What got you into rap music?
I grew up around music. It is in my blood. My family has a very extensive music background. What got me into rap was Kriss-Kross’s Jump. Heard that track and was hooked on rap ever since. Started my own group in High school called “Worldz Finest”. Shout out to my guy’s Brendan “Reckless Stylez” Hawkins who gave me the motivation to pursue my hip hop career. Shout out to Undre “Dre Stylez”Johnson and Jerale Nichols as well. They are very important parts of who I am. Ardell Fairly and Courtney Williams helped me birth my record label Sav Soldier Records LLC.
If it wasn’t for music, where would you be now?
Lost! Lol no I would probably still be in entertainment in some shape or form. I love acting which I’ve even had roles in a couple independent films with 2020 Vizion Ent.
In what way do you aim to make a difference?
Unity. By bridging those gaps between the artist divide in Kansas City, Mo where I’m from.
Where is your career heading? What is the vision?
Honestly don’t know where it’s going but HOW is so much more interesting. I’m connecting with great people and having a blast meeting so many diverse individuals. My vision is to have a great impact on the music world and to be mentioned amongst the greats before me.
How do you put words to paper? What’s your creative process like?
It’s actually a wild process lol. I like to sift through beats I’ve acquired and depending on the mood of the track and how I’m feeling I’ll put it together in lyric form.
If you could perform anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I’d love to perform in the UK. I love how they receive the Hip-Hop culture with such love and support and I just love that vibe.
How do you see your sound evolving in the next couple of years?
I see it becoming more diverse and having alot more sounds involved in it. I also see it becoming a staple in the Hip-Hop culture as well.
What makes you different from other rappers in the industry?
The thing that makes me stand out from others in the industry is I don’t value the things most others do nor do I glorify anything they glorify. I love being myself and not conforming to what’s popular.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Busta Rhymes and Method Man. These cats are who gave me my voice. The Bust growl and the Meth Shaolin technique mixed together gives you me.
